Exhibition Chairperson Wanted
Do you love art and artists? Placerville Arts Association is looking for someone to fill the Chairperson position for the National Mother Lode Art Exhibition beginning in 2027. You would have the help and support of the former Chairperson, Co-Chair, and a team of volunteers. Plus, we have an instruction binder, reserved the gallery for the future and have all of the connections. It’s basically all in place, we just need someone to manage the process.

***NEW – Exploring the Future of The Gallery at 48 Natoma
The Folsom Arts Association is working with the City of Folsom Parks and Recreation Department to explore possible operational efficiencies to support the continued operation of The Gallery at 48 Natoma. With the Gallery Manager position currently unfunded, we are exploring a volunteer-supported model that will help maintain gallery exhibitions and events for the community.
We are seeking FAA members who are interested in contributing their time, skills, and experience in several areas of gallery operations. Learn more …

Members who joined or renewed in October, November, or December of 2025 will have their memberships extended through the end of 2026.
2026 promises to be just as full of many of the same types of wonderful programs and activities we hosted in 2025. You do not want to miss out! Memberships are due annually each January. Memberships not renewed by the end of February will lapse.
You must be a member to participate in certain programs or receive discounts before you register for them. If you are unsure of your status, check the Members Directory. Your support is what makes it possible for the FAA to provide all of these programs!
A Call to Artists has been posted for the 20th Anniversary of “Banners on Parade,” a major fundraiser for Images of Hope El Dorado – a local nonprofit that provides Healing Arts support for those on the Western slope of El Dorado County affected by cancer and other traumas. Applications are due by February 28, 2026. This year’s theme is “A Walk in the Woods,” and the selected 30” x 60” Banners will be displayed from mid-June through late October along Main Street in Placerville. In addition to a variety of awards totaling $725, the Banners are auctioned off at the end of the show to raise funds for Images of Hope. For more information, see:
