The FAA is pleased to sponsor yet another Bus Trip to the beautiful Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco …
… this time to take in “the first major exhibition dedicated to the artistic exchange between French Impressionists Edouard Manet [described as that era’s great pioneer of modern painting] and Berthe Morisot [the only woman to exhibit under her own name in the original Impressionists group].” Left out of the exhibition’s official descriptors, some additional tidbits: Morisot, reportedly once a Manet paramour, was later a Manet sister-in-law. Whatever their relationships, they were both significant figures in Impressionistic art – perhaps especially Morisot, who gained esteem during a period when women were seldom accepted, much less recognized, in the upper echelons of 19th-century art.

Registration is ONLINE … We look forward to seeing you on the bus!
Fee: Includes transportation (ADA-accessible coach with onboard restroom), onboard snacks and beverages, and entrance to the museum. Lunch is on your own. Bring your lunch to enjoy in the Garden Terrace or indulge in the Legion of Honor Café. Participants must stay within the museum grounds.

Prices are reduced by $25 for members or guests who are members of the San Francisco Museums of Fine Arts (SFMFA).
Deadline to register is January 23, 2026.
