Party Time by Pattie Bowler - Folsom Arts Association September artist demo

Join us Thursday, September 8, for Pattie Bowler’s artist demonstration. Pattie will demonstrate her discovery for abstract art.Pattie will paint on paper and canvas with acrylics and inks.

Experimenting with the process is what keeps Pattie going. Although acrylics is very messy, it gives her many options to achieve the end result. She loves abstract art because of the freedom of expression.

Artwork PARTY TIME won the Award of Excellence. Pattie is currently showing her work at Sacramento Fine Arts in Carmichael.

A passion for color and shapes in her abstract paintings, Pattie defines the intuitive process with multi layers of color. She began painting watercolors, but then discovered she preferred the forgiveness of acrylics. As Pattie grew as an artist, she discovered she really enjoyed abstract painting. She like the spontaneous results she receive and the different interpretations that the viewer takes into the mind.

After 27+ years, Pattie retired as a flight attendant from United Airlines in 2003. Pattie and her husband Bill lived in Texas, California, and Colorado. She exhibited her art at Gallery 113 in Colorado Springs, three galleries in Texas, and four galleries in Southern California. Pattie and Bill moved to Roseville in August 2021.

Pattie is a Signature Member of Pikes Peak Watercolor Society, Southwestern Watercolor Society in Dallas, Texas, and the Colorado Watercolor Society. She participated in the first McKinney Studio Tour in Texas and has exhibited at several outdoor venues. Pattie was a featured artist in the Southwest Art Magazine in October 2017 and 2018 and a featured Colorado and Texas artist in October 2019.
