Do you have a passion for art and want to share your talent, skills, and knowledge?
The Folsom Art Center is a fun and creative place that offers art classes for all ages. We are looking for artists to join our teaching team for adult-level photography, watercolor, and drawing classes, as well as a variety of teen and youth art programs.
Teachers are independent contractors and receive a percentage split of class fees.

Great news! Marie Gonzales' artwork, "Natural Bridge, Bryce Canyon" received the Award of Merit at the California State Fair. The artwork will be on display at the Fine Arts Exhibit till the July 31. Maria would be delighted if you were to stop by the exhibit at the fair!

Help Wanted and Call for Art Auction Items
American River Conservancy (ARC) is partnering with Cosumnes Culture and Waterways (CCAWW) on a fundraising event called the Ladies Valley Landback. ARC aims to give the Ladies Valley property to our local Native American community along with $25,000 in startup funding.
For the event, they are collecting nature-inspired art auction items. They are also looking for volunteers to help now and during the event.

Call to Artists! Applications for Banners on Parade 2022 is now available! Visit Placerville Art on Parade for information.
The theme for this year's parade is California Seasons. The deadline for entries is February 28.
Placerville Art on Parade is a non-profit organization that hosts the annual Banners on Parade. This community art project displays painted art items at outdoor locations on Main Street in Placerville for the enjoyment of the public.

“It’s a Small World” can be depicted in a variety of ways; e.g., a small work of art, a view of another country, culture, or international theme representing our commonality, or other interpretation of the interconnectivity of our world. The doors are open to the latitude as how you want to express “It’s a small world.
