Sandy Hilton - Current Board Member

I have served on the Folsom Arts Association Board of Directors for more than 10 years, and my current term ends in December. I would be honored to continue serving as a member of the Board if elected by the membership.

I helped establish the Folsom Arts Association in the late 1990s while serving as the City of Folsom’s Community and Cultural Services Manager. During my tenure with the City, I also developed the City’s Arts and Culture Master Plan and was responsible for the development and construction of the Arts and Senior Center.

I am a ceramics artist and have taught pottery classes since 1979. I currently teach at the Art Center at 48 Natoma, where I remain actively involved in the local arts community.

More recently, my work with the FAA Board has focused on developing a Ceramics Enrichment Program and chairing a committee charged with assuming management responsibilities for the Gallery at 48 Natoma. I am excited about the opportunities ahead and would very much like to continue contributing to these efforts and supporting the future of the Folsom Arts Association.

I would appreciate your consideration and the opportunity to continue serving on the Board.

Tim Medboe - Current Board Member

I’m running for a position on the board because I care about the artists, volunteers, and community members who make the Folsom Arts Association special. Art thrives when people feel welcomed, supported, and inspired, and I want to continue to strengthen that environment and develop creative ways to increase our number of members.

My goal is to expand opportunities for artists to show their work, connect with one another, and participate in meaningful community projects. I have experience in board positions with other non-profit groups.

I would be honored to serve and help continue the tradition of bringing art to the heart of Folsom.

Carol Quinn - Current Board Member

I have served on the board of Folsom Arts Association in various capacities since 2007. As a board member I had the opportunity to be a part of the organization in the early stages and to watch it grow to what it is now. I assisted with everything from hanging shows, refreshments, organizing meetings, representing FAA at different venues and taking minutes as secretary.

Today I am still responsible for taking the minutes for the board meetings. As FAA continues to develop into a widely respected and vibrant art association, we deal with an array of subjects at the board meetings. As  ecretary, my skills are in being able to direct the meeting, listen, and still contribute, and finally pull it all together in the minutes.

I would like to continue to serve. My art background goes back decades and I am I am passionate about painting and all things art.

Janet Regan - New Board Member Candidate

I would like to bring my experience, energy and commitment to help support art appreciation and  local artists.

With more than 36 years of board and community leadership experience, I would be honored to be part of the Folsom Arts Association.

Thank you for your consideration.
