We are excited to announce an excellent art exhibition opportunity for our members: The 2026 Fall Folsom Arts Association Members’ Show at The Gallery at 48 Natoma from August 31 to November 5, 2026.

This show is open to all current FAA members. The theme for this show is The Many Colors of Folsom.  We invite our members explore their imaginations in creating artworks inspired by the beautiful City of Folsom, Folsom Lake, and Folsom surrounds!   While members many opt to submit work unrelated to this theme, adherence to theme will be among the factors considered by the judge.

Members may choose one 2d or one 3d piece that best exemplifies the work that you do and fits the presentation/framing and size requirements outlined below. Work may be offered for sale, with The Gallery at 48 Natoma retaining 30% of the selling price. The City of Folsom Parks and Recreation Department will handle all sales of artwork. Work that is not for sale should be entered as Not for Sale (NFS).

As an added enticement, The Gallery at 48 Natoma will be open the weekend of the annual Glass Pumpkin Patch – Saturday and Sunday, October 10 and 11 – to be held on the grounds just outside of the Gallery, and which always results in plenty of visitors to the Gallery that weekend!

An Artists’ Reception with refreshments and live music is scheduled for Friday, October 2, from 6-8 p.m. The reception is open to the public and awards will be presented at the reception.

Show details
  • One entry per artist. Except for photography, it must be original art, no giclees.
  • 2D (or 3D relief) work for hanging must have a wire or D-Rings on the back to allow proper hanging and securing of the piece. Sawtooth hangers are NOT permitted, and hanging wires must be sufficiently taut so as not to extend beyond the top of the frame once the picture is hung. Gallery-wrapped art must be painted or printed on the sides and ready to hang. Poorly prepared artwork, work not meeting the standards set forth in these details, or work not ready for display [e.g., artwork that is still wet to the touch] will not be accepted. The maximum width for wall-hung artwork is 36 inches (not including frame).
  • 3D art will be displayed on shelving or a pedestal furnished by the gallery.
  • Space is limited, first come, first served.
  • No applications accepted after Friday, August 10, 2025 (or before, if full).
