FAA Members Show – It’s a Small World

January 21 to March 31, 2022

Community Gallery at 48 Natoma in Folsom

Entries will be judged for awards in two categories:  2D and 3D, with prizes for each category.

Folsom Arts Association is excited to announce that our next Members Show will be held at the Community Gallery at 48 Natoma in Folsom. The theme for the show is ‘It’s a Small World’ and was selected to coordinate with the exhibit in the main gallery. Please submit work in keeping with this theme, such as a literal small or miniature piece, a view of another country or international theme depicting our commonality.

An Artists’ Reception will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m. The reception is open to the public (masks required).

Show Details
  • One entry per artist. Must be original art, no giclee. 
  • 2D art needs to be framed and ready to hang with wire and D-rings. Gallery-wrap art must be painted or printed on the sides and ready to hang with wire and D-rings. Poorly prepared, fragile or work not ready for display will not be accepted. Maximum width for artwork is 24 inches.
  • 3D art will be displayed on a table or pedestal.
  • Work offered for sale will have a 30% commission charged by the gallery.
  • Space is limited, first come, first served.
  • No applications accepted after Monday, December 27, 2021 (or before, if full).

The FAA and the City of Folsom reserve the right to reject any work not meeting their criteria.

Entry fee is $15 – payable online.

Steps for Registering
  1. You must be a current FAA member in good standing to participate in the Members Show. If you are not a current member, visit folsomarts.org/membership to join or renew.
  2. Registration includes the option to upload a JPG image of your artwork and artist bio. Your bio will be added to the FAA Members Show binder, which will be located at the art gallery. Your image may be used to promote the FAA Members Show.
  3. Click to register for the show.
Once Registered
  1. Print and fill out the Gallery at 48 Natoma Agreement for Temporary Display of ArtThe agreement is required when you drop off your artwork.
  2. A W9 for Invoice Sales form will be required if your work sells. Artwork sold will stay in the gallery until the end of the show. The gallery will arrange for the buyer to pick up the art.
  3. When dropping off your artwork, please be sure to label the back of your art with your name, artwork title, size, medium, and price (or Not For Sale).

Important Dates

Registration deadline: Monday, December 27, 2021* (or before, if full).

*Refunds: withdrawing from the show will incur a $2 processing fee when canceled before December 27, 2021.
No refunds after December 27, 2021.

Artwork drop off: Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 10 to 11 a.m.
Art on display: Friday, January 21 to Thursday, March 31, 2022.

Artists’ Reception (masks required): Friday, January 28, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The reception is open to the public.

Artwork pick up: Friday, April 1, 2022 from 10 to 11 a.m.
