Pilot Program for Ceramic Artists – DRAFT DRAFT

The Folsom Arts Association is thrilled to announce a new addition to its program lineup. Starting in 2025, the “Ceramics Education Program” will provide educational opportunities for ceramic artists. Scheduled for Thursday evenings, this program will showcase a variety of ceramic artists who will demonstrate techniques in sculpture, handbuilding, and wheel work. Additionally, there are plans to host one or two ceramics workshops.

Thursday Evenings from 6 to 8 p.m.
Art Center at 48 Natoma Street in Folsom

Tentative 2025 Schedule

February 27  – Rodney Mott, Altered Wheel Forms
May 22 – Gary Dinnen, Hand Built Animals
September 25 – Ray Gonzales, Wheel and Handbuilt Forms
November 6 – Marissa Sayagu/Yoshio Taylor, Sculpture

To participate, one must be a current FAA Member or a Ceramics-only FAA Member. Non-members may not attend.

FAA Members $35 annual membership fee (includes the Ceramics only Membership) – Join the FAA
FAA Ceramics only Members $15 annual Membership fee – Join the Ceramics Program
