FAA Board of Directors – Nominations & Election 2025

The FAA Board of Directors elections are coming up. The Board members serve for two-year terms, and up until now the Board has consisted of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Membership Chair. However, the Board has determined that by adding two more at-large positions to the Board, we can better distribute the workload and plan for future transitions in leadership of the association.

Thus, in accordance with the FAA bylaws, the President has appointed FAA members Karen Keys and Kathy Levenson to serve as a nominating committee. The committee is responsible to put together a slate of nominees, which may consist of the current Board Members (if they desire to be considered for re-election) but also may include new members who have expressed an interest and ability to serve. The slate will be presented to the membership at the November meeting.  Additionally, nominations may be made from the floor at the November meeting, and the election itself will be held at FAA’s December meeting.*

(*Normally, elections are held at our November meeting, but due to vacations and other unexpected events, we got a late start this year, so elections will be held at our December meeting and holiday party.)
