Art Challenges of 2025
Quarterly Art Challenges offer our members an informal opportunity to share their diverse talents by producing artwork inspired by a particular artist or theme.
Members are encouraged to publish a photo of their completed work on the FAA’s members-only Facebook page. And bring their work to the designated art meeting.
First Quarter Art Challenge – Pets
Congratulations, Carolyn Lewis!
At Folsom Arts Association’s Holiday Party, members were offered the chance to select the inspiration for our first quarterly Art Challenge of 2025. After two rounds of voting that ended in a tie between Monet and “Pets,” our outgoing treasurer, Diana Latimer, cast the deciding vote for Pets!
Second Quarter Art Challenge – Paul Cezanne
Congratulations, Roy Moffatt!
The FAA Board recently revised the schedule for our quarterly Art Challenges so to avoid conflicts with our year-end holiday activities…and as a result, our next Art Challenge is already upon us! The inspiration for the May Challenge is Paul Cezanne.
Third Quarter Art Challenge – Toys
Congratulations, Roy Moffatt!
The inspiration for our next quarterly Art Challenge is: “Toys.” Members are encouraged to reflect back on favorite toys from their childhoods, or maybe what they like to play with now…whatever evokes the joy of a toy.
Fourth Quarter Art Challenge – Holidays!
Congratulations, Tony Schoen!
Quarterly Art Challenges offer our members an informal opportunity to share their diverse talents. The inspiration for our last challenge of the year is Holidays – pick any holiday that inspires you!
