ARTIST STATEMENT:

The impact of light and color in the absence of words evokes both mood and thought. I strive to bring a sense of peace in the midst of chaos.

BIOGRAPHY:
Kat lives in Folsom and is inspired by the natural surroundings in California from the mountains to the coast. Heavily influenced by 5 years in Australia, she strives to highlight the incredible variety of designs in local landscapes. She has attended a variety of workshops but gives special credit to Gregory Kondos for emphasizing simplicity of form and Barry Jamison for his application of color in Pastels.
